Nymph of Assassin Bug (Hemiptera Reduviidae)
A nymph of Assassin Bug (Hemiptera Reduviidae) commonly found around the resin holes in the trunk of chheuteal trees (Dipterocarpus alatus). Their front legs are covered in resin to attract stingless bees, their main preys. Being covered in resin, they are often covered in vegetal debris, and therefore named 'dirt bugs.' Shot in Angkor, Cambodia (April 2013)
